Lastly I found that the simplest idea worked best; exercise. Even walking helps relieve stress. The heart health benefits of walking are numerous and walking is essential to maintaining good heart health. If you haven’t exercised in a long time, you can start with a walk around the block and do more as you get stronger. You just have to walk as much as you can. Walking will lower your risk for cardiovascular disease.

Sadly taking up walking started giving me foot pain so I had to look for a solution for that and what I found out was quite shocking to me.

About 70 percent of the population has some degree of abnormal foot condition, so many people can benefit from wearing foot orthotics. While pricey they did the job for me so I’m a fan!

Also good quality orthotics can last for more than one year, and many can last for 5 long years. The lifespan of an orthotic insole depends on the material it’s made of and how often you use it. Hard plastic insoles are more durable than the soft ones, lasting for 3 to 5 years. Soft plastic or foam orthotics may only last for a year. Shoe inserts can last for more than three years if you are an average walker. Athletes will have to replace their inserts every year.
